IMPORTANT REMINDERS

We expect players to show up for their predetermined time and the coaches appropriate for their age may only be available at those times to observe the players. Therefore the league greatly appreciates everyone’s support in attempting to stick to the schedule.

Please arrive at least 15-20 minutes prior to your assigned time to allow for check in and warm up so your child will be ready to play during his or her scheduled time! Note that parking at Alta Laguna on the weekends can be tight so please keep that in mind prior to arrival.

Helpful tips and reminders:

Players will be evaluated on their ability to hit, run, catch, field grounders, and throw for purposes of the draft.

All players must bring a baseball glove and helmet. Bats are highly recommended but if you don’t have one, you may be able to borrow one. Note that existing bats can still be used for this event as the new bat rules do not go into effect until January 1st.

If a child is injured, he/she should attend skills check to meet the prospective managers.

VERY IMPORTANT: IF YOUR CHILD MISSES SKILLS CHECK THEY WILL NOT BE DRAFTED ONTO A TEAM. Skills check is mandatory for all AA, AAA, and Intermediate players, no exceptions. Per Little League National Rules, if a player does not attend skills check they cannot be placed on a team.
